A little bit of this, a little bit of that...
All forms of outdoor equipment can be accepted and will be given to someone in need as soon as possible. Every little bit helps, and we are thankful to everyone! When we say we take anything, we mean anything!
These items are always needed -
TENTS - Please take a moment to pull that old tent out of the back of the closet or garage and donate it! Your used tent can be someone's primary shelter.
SLEEPING BAGS - Everyone has an old sleeping bag in the closet or under the bed that hasn't been used in years. Donate your old sleeping bag and make a difference!
TARPS - Tarps can be used in a variety of ways - shelter, ground cover, etc. Dark colors (or camo) are preferred. For less than $10 you can buy an 8' by 10' tarp. So remember tarps & InTents the next time you are shopping.
BACKPACKS - While smaller packs can be used, we are looking for the larger, more sturdy packs. Day packs used by high school students and day hikers are also needed.
PARACORD - Paracord is very useful when preparing shelters outside. Paracord is available at most large discount and hardware stores.
